Overall Impression: Disappointed

Curtis Sidwell (owner) and his wife Trina are very nice people and provided comfortable accommodations during my hunt. This is a self-guided type deer hunt, before your hunt the owner shows you the different tracts of land (actually ranches) that you will be allowed to hunt and he provides information about each of the areas. Each tract of land varies in size, terrain, and type of cover, they are all great looking deer country. I was there and hunted the late season and after 4-days of hunting I only saw 2-does. Factors that may have affected how many deer I saw were the weather, the last week of the season, the crops (corn) not being picked, whatever the reason the deer were just not moving. I have been big game hunting for 35-years on guided and non-guided hunts in seven different states and this is the first hunt where I only saw 2-game animals.
