I have hunted in many areas for deer and anticosti is second to none. Very remote, it seems like your the only one hunting on the island. The guides are not right in your face telling you how to hunt. They let you do your thing, however, they are helpful in putting you in areas where there are deer. Its your job to find the deer. I have hunted on the island for five years now, and it seems to keep getting better. I live in Maine, and have hunted Pennsylvania for over 10 years. I am just tired of trying to find a place to hunt in Pa. Too many posted signs. If your looking for a real hunt, a do it yourself hunt, try Anticosti. Its Paradise.
