Our hunt was booked for a 3 day hunt12/27/03 thru 12/30/03. The hunt is in South Texas in Frio County . Jim has a good relationship with many of the ranches in that area and was useful when some of the hunters had not seen many deer in their area. Jim will go all out to put his hunters in a good area. There were 12 hunters in our party and 7 harvested good deer.( 120 class to 135 class)But there were some 140-160 class deer seen, but none of these had given a shot opportunity to the hunters.Expectations given before the hunt was the hunter should have a good chance of a 120 to 130 class deer.Also harvested was 2 large hogs, 2 bobcats as well as 2 rattlesnakes.This is a great South Texas hunt for the money.You can look up the website Backcountry Outfitters and Taxadermy or e-mail Jim Eslora at backcountry25@hotmail.com
