I took a 133 buck with a forked brow tine. Quite honestly, I probably could have done better and it was my fault because the buck I took just plain fooled me; I thought he was 150 or better.Nevertheless, he is a handsome animal and I'm happy with him.You hunt on stands over cut lines and have from 3 to 5 seconds to size up an animal and make your decision, but that's hunting and in no way am I being critical of the outfitter. One of the guys in our group took a "slammer" that scored 163 and interestingly, he had no idea how big the deer really was when the shot was taken! As far as the experience of the guides, it's hard to say because they merely drop you off and tell you to give them a call if you get too cold, or take an animal. But you are given a satellite phone and a "body bag" in the event that it is really cold (in the morning it was around -5F and would go to 10 or 15F during the day). But having said all this, someone does some good scouting because the stands are well positioned and everyone saw game.Accomodations and food were fine and more than satisfactory. All in all, a good hunting trip and well worth the money.
