Brian Hudgens caters to small groups (upto four)of hunters. He has two ranches in West Texas, the Neill Camp in Coke County, and the Parker Camp in Crockett County. I hunted the Neill Camp in November 2002 with my friend Gene.Brian and his staff provide a very comfortable and relaxed 4 day/5 night hunt. Perfect for a small group of friends who want a ranch to themselves. Every night we had a nice fire under the stars during our social hour. Basic country cooking with steaks, chops, and mexican food for supper. Accomodations were clean and comfortable.Brian's father Milton and his friend Bruce, a retired policeman, were our guides. Both were extremely knowledgeable and down to earth.Brian and his website said his deer average 110-120 B & C. Gene shot a 16 " eight pointer and I got a nice 20 1/2 " eight pointer, both in the 115 B & C range. We saw plenty of deer every day. We both harvested a turkey which are abundant. If you want to have fun with some quality people at a reasonable price, contact Brian at www.premier outfitting.com. I've already rebooked the opening weekend for 2003.
