Overall Impression: A Hunt of lifetime

This was my first elk hunt. Sammy Frazier was recommended to me by a good friend who had hunted with him before. I can't say enough good things about the knowledge, expertise and flat out "work ethic" Sammy has. I had worked out plenty at the gym before I came out to hunt and I was in shape. However, the terrain was rugged and steep and the elevation was tough on us. This was one of the most physically demanding things I've ever done. I was almost ready to give up on myself and my "beat up" body but Sammy was bound and determined to get me tagged out. He stayed positive and got me in front of an elk. (I was starting to "kick myself" as I had passed on a small 4 x 4 the first day) It took me until the third day of our 5 day hunt before I got my bull...a beautiful 5 x 5...for me a bull of a lifetime. If I could do it again...I'd go with Sammy!Dave FingerMadison, WI
