This hunt has big possibilities. Seven hunters only took two deer , but both where trophys (BIG 4x4's). Other hunters had their chances but for one reason or another weren't able to connect. Two different hunters missed the same 30" Buck twice. My father saw a 26"+ and a 30"+. Myself , I did not see a buck all week. The weather was bad , and it put the deer to bed for nearly four days. Lots of rain and snow made it very muddy , especially at the camp which consisted of wall tents. And even though the deer didn't cooperate the guides where top notch. They did everything possible to put us on deer and the last two days I saw dozens of does. Bob is a top notch guide and a great guy. His guides know what they are doing and they are very familiar with the area. The cost of this hunt is very reasonable. We stayed in wall tents and had propane heaters. All of the hunting is done on public land. 2hunters / guide and we traveled in 4x4's. Be prepared to cover a lot of ground by foot if you expect to see any game ,but if you are looking for a "Giant Muley" give Bob a try , You may have more luck than I did. Zone 2B in northwest NM has some real trophies.
