I could not have asked for a better hunt or guide in Rick Grubbs. Rick manages for quality and is extremely knowledgable guide that did everything in his power to make our hunt a success. Rick amd Jana took very good care of us and made us feel at home. We hunted in late September when the weather was hot and humid and we still saw over 60 deer with many bucks over 15 inch spread. I shot a small 5 point and a 9 point with a 20.5 inch spread and missed two deer. My German hunting friend shot one 6 point/15.5 inch spread and a 8 point/18.5 (195 pounds) and missed one deer. This was over a three and half day period. We never hunted more than one time from a stand. Rick manages a very high quality area. I am scheduling for my turkey hunt now!
