I took my son on a bear hunt for his 12th birthday. I would have liked to shoot a bear but could only afford 1 hunt. I figured that I would enjoy watching him take his first bear as much as taking one myself. I was right! It was awesome to watch Matthew get pumped up when the bears came in. I was afraid he would choke up at the shot but he kept his cool and took his first bear with one clean shot. I am one proud dad. The shots at most bait sites are close enough for a bow. A few of my freinds took their bear with a bow. One of my buddies saw 15 bear in one evening. There are lots of bears. Bert had 100% success this year.
