We hunted the last weekend of Spring Turkey season. The gobblers were not responding to calls as they had plenty of hens. This was common throughout Texas early and late in the Spring Turkey season. The guides worked hard to go the extra mile. The Double C Ranch was a first class facility. Even though no Turkey were harvested, the staff made our trip rememberable. The bass fishing, skeet range, wonderful food and amenities at the ranch made for a wonderful time for all.
