Overall Impression: Good

The lodge and setting is absolutely gorgeous. Accomodations were excellent. Jerry and his family seem to be quality people. I booked a hunt for a 300 plus pound hog. I spoke with Jerry 3 nights prior to the hunt and everything was on schedule. When I arrived and sat down to finalize the payment of the rest of the hunt, I was informed that there were no 300 pound hogs available. I didn't travel 500 miles to shoot a 150 pound hog. I wish I knew this prior to arrival. Jerry advertises that a 200-250 pound hog costs $650.00. My total bill was $805.00. I feel that there are alot of hidden costs involved in this hunt. I never saw a hog that weighed over 200 pounds, neither did any of my partners. We had a fun time but I think you could do the same hunt cheaper.
