Overall Impression: very good

I bowhunted for javelina on the Edmund Tom Ranch. Even though I was not successful, it wasn't for lack of game, or effort on their part. 2 of the 4 days were very windy, and 1 day was unusually cold! I saw javelina the 1st 2 evenings, but it was late & they were out of range with only a few minutes to try & execute a stalk. After setting up a ground blind one evening close to a feeder, they heard my chair squeak while I tried to rise to shoot @ 15 yards, and the next p.m. they had their eyes glued to the blind, and would not let me draw. Very exciting! I also saw a couple of nice deer, and had a flock of 15 turkeys within 20 yards of me. (I was able to draw due to the wind, but it wasn't turkey season, so I could only pretend!) I called a bobcat to within 15 yards, but could not draw without spooking him. So, I enjoyed myself so much that I plan on going back next turkey season!
