I saw elk every day including the day before the hunt. There was some fresh snow and we spotted a herd feeding near camp. That night the elk moved through camp and bugled all night long. It was unbelievable. Opening morning we jumped a herd and I got off several rounds at a huge bull and missed. Next morning we jumped some elk again and I harvested a good 6x6 bull. My first bull. Lee, Baba and James know exactly what they are doing. I must have seen 250 elk the whole time I was there. I spend the rest of the time just watching elk through my binoculars, and hanging out and eating. This is an excellent hunting operation and I'm saving up my money to do a bow hunt.
