saw tons, if i had had a rifle, could have shot at 5 over 300b@C WITHIN 200 YDS unfortunately, i had a mathews instead. the elk would not come in close enough to get a bow shot. either the guides calls were not good enough, or maybe the elk were not in full swing at the time. heard too many bugles to count and on better days saw 40-50 head. some in the 320-330 class. one hunter out of 6 got a shot at 20 yds, everyone was close but no other chances. oh yes, i did pass a small 4 by on the 3rd day of a 5 day hunt. no guarantee but it was a worthwhile hunt.
