Overall Impression: Top Notch

I hunted for caribou the opening week of the 2001 bow season and harvested a stag by 9am of opening morning. I had a second tag which I didn't fill as we were looking for a bigger animal. Warmer than normal temperatures slowed game movement somewhat, but I still saw numerous caribou and moose. Dean and his crew are extremely hard working and will get you in position for a shot. Be prepared for a physical hunt as we probably walked 7-8 miles a day, very little of which was on a level ground. The entire operation is well run, and Dean catered to our needs throughout the week. The food was plentiful and very good. I look forward to a return trip.
