We apologize, but our hunt was cut short, because of sickness and also weather considerations. We did not hunt a third day. The sickness was also the reason this page was not updated promptly. We apologize for that.

To say that this hunt was tough would be an understatement. We never got to hunt since we never even located a bird. One thing we did hear over and over from other hunters we encountered was that this was one of the strangest turkey seasons in recent memory in northern Virginia.

Check in next Monday for the start of our next live hunt, from northern Missouri, for turkeys.
