re you interested in seeing an abundance of game and receiving excellent hopspitality? Then come join us for a hunt in the GOLDEN TRIANGLE on the Las Cruces Ranch. Lazy R Hog & Predator Hunts operates on the Las Cruces Ranch, which is located in Maverick County, just fifteen miles from the Rio Grande River in deep South Texas. As good stewards of the land, we manage both range and wildlife conservatively. There is a wide variety of brush species, dense brush and many large creek bottoms that provide excellent habitat and feed for feral hogs, javelina, coyotes, bobcats, cottontails, jackrabbits, rattlesnakes, and badgers, to name a few species that inhabit our ranch.
Hunting on over 15,000 acres, hunting styles range from spotting and stalking, box stands, to hunting off of stationary vehicles. Predator calling and spotlighting (legal in Texas) have proven effective for hogs, javelina, coyotes and bobcats. Having so many different hunting options makes your hunting experience fun, adventurous and successful.
Accommodations are very clean and comfortable. Our comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath hunting lodge has central a/c and heat. The kitchen is fully stocked for convenience, but all meals are prepared for the hunters. All meals are home-cooked, plentiful, and delicious. Our walk-in game cooler stores all game, and local processing and taxidermy are available if desired. Every hunt is all inclusive and affordable, so the only things hunters need to bring are: rifle/bow, ammunition, binoculars, clothes, and personal effects. The closest airport is San Antonio International and transportation to and from the ranch can be arranged for an additional fee. We take great pride in providing a thorough hunt with lots of personal attention and hospitality.
