  e are located in the Little Belt Mountains, near the Lost Fork River, in Central Montana. An hour and a half, easy horseback ride (7 miles) reaches our base camp at an elevation of 6,300 feet. This outfitting camp has been in business for over 35 years. During that time our kill percentage has been 64% on elk and 67% on deer.
The hunting depends largely on the year - if it's dry of course it is more difficult. Our area was burned twice in the 1980's so there is a lot of glassing done on hunts. It is now declared a wilderness area.
We take a maximum of 4 hunters per week during archery season, and 5 hunters per week during rifle season
We recommend excersizing before your hunt because the terrain is rolling mountains, and elevations range from 5,000 - 8,000 ft. Most of our elk are killed within 2 miles of camp.
Our combination elk, deer and bear camp consists of one large cook tent, three sleeping tents and a guide tent, with wood stoves for heat.
We furnish everything except bow or rifle, ammo, sleeping bag, fishing equipment, processing of meat, taxidermy work and license.
 We require a 50% deposit on all bookings. The deposit is non-refundable, but may be applied to the next year's hunt under certain conditions. Final payment is required 30 days in advance or cash on arrival. You can fly Northwest to Billings and connect to Lewistown by Big Sky Airlines.
We also have Summer Pack Trips. Wildlife you are likely to see is: black bear, elk, deer, mountain grouse, turkey, coyote and an occasional mountain lion.
