Texas has long been considered the premier destination for whitetail deer hunting. The trick to finding a quality whitetail hunt begins with locating a property that can consistently offer opportunities for hunters to see lots of good bucks. The Foster Ranch supports a large deer herd that is made up of plenty of old mature bucks. Population survey estimates in recent years indicate that there are over 1500 deer on this property, with a sex ration of approximately 2 does per buck. Hunters can expect to see 10-20 bucks per day with well over 50% of bucks having 8 or more points.
