Cost is $300 per day. Example: A group of four hunters would only pay $75 each. 8. Non-Hunting Companions: Are welcome on most trips for $75 per day. Please make arrangements in advance so that we reserve room for your companions. 9. To Reserve A Trip: Simply give us a call on the phone, send us a letter, or print out our convenient "Hunt Application", fill it out and mail it to our address. 10. Bookings and Fee Policies: Trips are considered "Booked" when a 50% non-refundable deposit and a signed "Hunt Application" have been received and accepted. Final Payments are also nonrefundable and due upon your arrival before your trip can begin, in the form of Cash, Cashier Check, Money Order, or Travelers Checks. We also accept VISA and MASTERCARD, but we must charge you for the 3% service fee we pay on credit card transactions. Personal checks are acceptable for initial deposits but not for final payments. Bearpaw Outfitters reserves the right to increase our fees without notice. However, fees will not be increased on any hunt that is already booked and executed as originally scheduled. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. 11. Payment Plans: If needed, special payment plans are available on request. You can pay for your hunt in small amounts prior to the hunt. Call to setup your plan. 12. Waiver and Release Agreement: You will be asked to sign a separate "Waiver And Release Agreement" before your trip can begin. This is a requirement of our liability insurance carrier. We usually send these to you in advance, please return them so they are on file before your arrival. 13. On semi guided trips (with more than two hunters per guide) and unguided trips, you may need to provide some or all of your own transportation during your trip. Drop camps do not include meals, you need to bring your own food. Regardless of circumstances, all other meals, lodging, travel, and any other associated expenses are your responsibility. 14. Idaho State Sales Tax: Idaho state law requires all outfitters to collect 5% sales tax on all Idaho trips. 15. Confirmation And Equipment List: Will be sent to you after your deposit has been received, which will outline all the details of your trip. 16. Anyone who, at any time after their arrival, decide to end their trip for any reason, shall be considered to have cancelled their trip once they depart from Bearpaw Outfitters care or premises. Rescheduled trips are subject to price increases equal to current pricing for the year in which the trip is executed. Bearpaw Outfitters reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen or unworkable circumstances, however any cancellation Bearpaw Outfitters initiates will be rescheduled for the same price as booked. Bearpaw Outfitters, it's owners, agents, employees, volunteers, associates, and the landowners of all properties on which Bearpaw Outfitters conduct their services and activities, shall not be liable for any expenses or liabilities incurred before, during, or after any trip or cancellation. 17. Licenses & Tags: Are available without a drawing for most trips. In Idaho we have an outfitters quota for licenses, in Utah we have landowner permits, and most licenses in Washington are available over the counter when you arrive. You are responsible for your license fees, but we can purchase them in advance for you. There are a few special draws for special hunts, call for specifics on these. Hunting license fees are subject to change without notice. 18. Airport Information: For Idaho and Utah trips, fly into Salt Lake City. Most of our camps are only 2 to 3 hours away. Washington hunters should fly into Spokane, our lodge is only 2 hours away. Car Rentals are available at either airport for $130 to $250 per week and 4x4 Rentals are available if you think you need them for $300 to $400 per week. If desired, for some trips we can arrange to pick you up and return you to the airport for $200 per vehicle round trip. (1 to 3 passengers per vehicle depending on which vehicle is available.) 19. Physical Condition: Most hunting is at least somewhat physical. Although we can make most hunts suitable to most people, you should consult your doctor about your health and conditioning for your trip. Not all hunts are suitable for everyone, therefore Bearpaw Outfitters can not be responsible if you are unable to execute your hunt. However, we will do everything feasible to make your trip enjoyable and successful regardless of your physical condition. 20. Weather & Nature: Are always unpredictable and can have a profound effect on the outcome of your trip, your comfort, and the conditions in camp, for better or for worse. Please be advised that we have no control over weather or nature. No extra days will be given or refunds made, due to lost opportunity, inconveniences, or losses to you or your property, caused by or as a result of weather or acts of nature. But, we will do our best to make your trip as enjoyable and successful as possible whatever the circumstances may be. 21. Wounded or Lost Game: We do not charge you extra for wounded or lost game on free-ranging hunts and will continue your hunt even if wounded game is lost. 22. Livestock, Hounds, & Pets: You shoot it, you pay for it, policy. The value or cost of any losses or injuries to livestock, hounds, or pets, as a result of your shooting will be paid to Bearpaw Outfitters before your departure. Be sure of your target and there'll be no problems. We've never had a problem in over 20 years. 23. Weapons: Please check your accuracy on a target and practice before your hunt! Rifles for Big Game must be .243 or larger. We highly recommend the flat shooting magnums in 7mm or .300 and even up to .338 calibers. The .243 and 30/30 are perfect for cougar, but a bit small for other big game. We normally don't recommend less than a .270 for elk. Bows must be 40lb. Minimum, broadheads 7/8" or wider, minimum total arrow weight 400 grains, no lighted sights or expanding broadheads. Please ask for more specific information. Handguns for Hunting should be .41 or .44 Magnum, or the more powerful cartridges. Muzzleloaders must have exposed ignition and should be .50 caliber or larger. No scopes or primers are allowed in Muzzleloaders. Please ask for more specific info. Shotguns for Turkey should have an Extra-Full Turkey Choke Tube, and hold 3" or 3 1/2" Magnum Turkey loads with #6 or #5 shot. This combination usually gives you 30% more shooting distance from your shotgun. 24. Hunter Orange Requirements: Utah and Washington both require 400 square inches on your upper body, visible from all sides, for rifle deer and elk hunts. At least a solid orange vest and a hat are required in Utah. Only a vest is required in Washington, and camo orange may be used in Washington. Hunter orange is not required by Idaho Law, but it is recommended worn. 25. Success: We would prefer to have 100% success on all hunts, but it doesn't normally happen that way on every hunt. Bearpaw Outfitters can advise you of your anticipated shooting opportunity, based on prior years success and anticipated future opportunity. Obviously, due to many circumstances out of our control, we can't guarantee success on every hunt, but we will work very hard to insure you the best opportunities possible. We want you to go home knowing you had a great hunt and that Bearpaw Outfitters did the very best they could for you on your hunt. |
