| We are located in the northeastern corner of Washington, next to Idaho and British Columbia. Our area has a prime mix of berries and nuts in the forested mountains which provide the necessary feed and cover for the largest population of bear in the entire southern 48 states (over 30,000 in Washington). And nearly every year our hunting region has the highest bear harvest in the entire state. Most bear average 5' to 6', with the occasional 7' plus bear. Colors run about 50% black and 50% off colors, (including browns, blondes and cinnamons). Weights range from 100 to 500+ lbs., and average about 200 pounds overall. Hunting is best during August and September. We spot and stalk them in the berry patches. This is very effective, our guided hunter shooting opportunity usually runs 70-100%. We offer both guided and unguided hunts. Lodging in one of the cabins, and tasty meals in the main house are included with all hunts. Some other species may also be hunted during your bear hunt, which include: Cougar - Although very elusive and only occasionally seen, your bear license includes a cougar harvest permit. You may take a cougar on your hunt at no-extra-cost, beginning August 1. Forest Grouse - Hunting is excellent during September and October (no additional license is needed). Small Game - Coyote, Rabbit, Coon, and Bobcat, do require an additional small game license. Archery Deer & Elk - Purchase a deer and/or elk license and hunt archery deer and/or elk during your bear hunt at no-extra-cost. Plan a straight bear hunt, or plam a combo hunt, the price is the same for a full five days. Add extra unguided days for only $75 per day or extra semi-guided days for $150 per day.
